The NeverEnding Story (German: Die unendliche Geschichte) is a West German/American-produced English language epicfantasy film series based on the novel of the same identify by Michael Ende.

The authentic film, The NeverEnding Story, was directed and co-written by Wolfgang Petersen and was later followed by two sequels.[1]

The first movie adapted the first half of the original novel, while the second half of the novel was used as the harsh basis for the second clip, The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter.[2]

The third film in the series, The NeverEnding Story III, has an original plot.[3]

Die Fabelwesen wurden daher mit hohem Aufwand nachgebaut, um dann zusammen mit den realen Figuren in einer fantastischen Kulisse zu spielen. Das Ergebnis ist zum Teil noch aus heutiger Perspektive beeindruckend.
